Bucky hesitates, then his shoulders actually slump a little. "Yeah, okay. I get that." If anyone wanted to operate on his brain again, even to take out a potential kill switch, he'd probably tell them to go to hell. And maybe punch them, for good measure.

And then, because Bob's mental state is apparently a big deal, and if he weren't so exhausted he'd probably care on a personal level as well, he has to ask, "Have you checked in on him? Is he doing okay?"
